Munoscong Ladies Golf

Phyllis Baxter carded 55 for low gross and Dorothy McDowell recorded 49 for low net in the first flight during the Munoscong Ladies Golf League Wednesday, June 25.

Penney Poluk registered 48 for low gross and Bev Vandergeest 42 for low net in the second flight, Tone Barber 57 for low gross and Sonja Clegg 40 for low net in the third flight, and Jane Moore 62 for low gross and Mary Sanderson 38 for low net in the fourth flight.

Phyllis Baxter recorded low putts with 15, Penney Poluk made the longest putt on hole 6, Dorothy McDowell was closest to the pin on hole 9, and Evalyn Jacobson was closest to the cross cart path on hole 7.

Munoscong Mixed Doubles

The team of Chelsey and Barry O'Connor and Jan and Bill Moore carded 33 with 16 putts for first place in the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Friday, June 27.

Placing second was the foursome of Dorothy McDowell, Ed DeWitt, and Janet and Connie Bouffard, after recording a score of 34 with 14 putts.

Special event winners: The team of Renae Reich and Matt Romatz and Evalyn and Vern Jacobson had the fewest putts (12); Denny Smith had the longest putt on hole 3; Mike Poulk was the closest to the pin on his second shot on hole 5; Brian Landers was closest to the pin on his third shot on hole 7; Stu Murray was the closest to the pin with his tee shot on hole 9.

Munoscong Senior Golf

Ken Wilkie carded 37 for low gross and Jack Boone, Bob Mc- Dougall, and Eugene Ross shared the low net with 29 during the Munoscong Seniors Golf League Thursday, June 26.

Connie Buffard, Wayne Evans, and John Head shared low putts with 14; Wayne Evans had the longest putt on hole 18; Jim Stevenson was closest to the pin with his second shot on hole 12; Jack Boone was closest to the pin with his tee shot on hole 11, and Jim Smith won the door prize.

Women's AA: Frank and Jim's 37, Oops and Whoops 32, Joe's Bar and Grill 29, Chippewa Animal Clinic 23, and Northern Floor Covering 20.
