Golf Scramble at St. Ignace

Team O'Connors carded 59 (29- 30) to capture first place during the Business Four Person Golf Scramble at the St. Ignace Golf Club Sunday, July 13.

In the first flight, Coveyou/ Grondin recorded 60 (30-30) to finish second, followed by BMAJC with 62 (31-31), and O'Boyle Construction 63 (33-30).

Bishop Construction won the second flight with 68 (34-34), followed by McGregor Oil with 69 (35-34), Lester Septic 69 (35-34), and Rock Bottom 70 (36-34).

Special Events: John Bentgen won the longest drive for men on hole one, Jessica Manuel longest drive for women on hole three, and Dan McCarthy closest to the pin on hole seven. Saints Basketball Program

To Host Golf Tourney

The St. Ignace Saints girls and boys basketball program will host a Three-Person Scramble at the Mackinaw Club in Mackinaw City Saturday, August 2.

Cost of the tournament is $150 per team and tee time is scheduled for 11:33 a.m.
