Former St. Ignace resident Robert Lackey, 94, of Monticello, Florida, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, in Tallahassee, Florida.

Mr. Lackey was born in Bruce Township, Ontario.

He was proceed in death by his wife, Louise, who died February 17, 2007.

He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

Survivors include two daughters and their families, Josephine and Bob Turner of Monticello and Mary and Sonny Bosecker of Rockport, Indiana; one sister and her family, Eunice Rang of Ladson, South Carolina; six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service was Wednesday, July 23, at Oakfield Cemetery in Monticello.

Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home of Tallahassee handled the arrangements.
