A memorial service is planned for Robert Louis Flora of Wildwood Shores, near Brevort, Saturday, August 16, 2008, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brevort. A picnic lunch and celebration of his life are planned.

Mr. Flora, 92, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007, in a car accident near St. Ignace.

The family is preserving friends' stories about Mr. Flora. An update on the story-gathering project will be offered at the memorial service. Stories can be e-mailed to the family at aflora@ umich.edu.
