A children's carnival will take place Thursday, August 7, from 5: 50 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sault Tribe Head Start Building in Sault Ste. Marie. This event is free and open to the public.

Dinner and free books for children will be provided. Participating agencies that will be at the carnival to provide information are the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District, Family Support Network of Michigan, Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Child Advocacy Services, Sault Tribe Mental Health and Social Services, Diane Peppler Resource Center, area child care providers, and Sault Tribe Childcare Development Services.
