Jessica and Oleksandr "Sasha" Obydyennov Oleksandr "Sasha" Obydyennov and Jessica VanLandshoot of Munising were united in marriage July 12, 2008, at Fayette State Park at the residence where her grandfather, Harvey St. Ours, lived when he was a child. Justice Bill Carmody, a friend of the family, officiated.

Parents of the couple are Paul and Denise (nee St. Ours) VanLandshoot, and Ed and Irena Peters, all of Munising. The bride's grandparents are Marlene and the late Harley St. Ours, formerly of Naubinway, and Irene and the late Paul VanLandshoot of Munising. The St. Ours have a cabin near Fayette State Park.

Maid of honor was Monica VanLandshoot of Marquette, accompanied by Amber Curtis of Munising. The bride's attendants are her sisters. Sydney Curtis served as flower girl.

Paul Harrison of Escanaba was the best man and was accompanied by John Grosnor of Crystal Falls and Pete Kochis of Munising. Jay Curtis and Jacob VanLandshoot served as ring bearers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's grandmother in Munising.

The couples reside in Marquette, where the bride is attending Northern Michigan University and studying nursing. Mr. Obydyennov, now employed as a training specialist, is a graduate of Northern Michigan University.
