At right, John Rogers at his Border Patrol graduation. John Rogers of Rudyard has been graduated from the Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, where he earned a sharpshooters certificate, and received credentials, firearm, and badge. In August, he will be stationed in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Rogers is the son of Joe and Lana Rogers of Rudyard.
