Paquin Earns Army Medal

Command Sergeant Major Thomas Paquin of St. Ignace was recently awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
Command Sergeant Major Paquin is assigned as the Post Command Sergeant Major with Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan Army National Guard, Camp Grayling. He was awarded the medal for consistently demonstrating keen organizational skills and motivational leadership.
He has 30 years of military service and is employed by the State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources, where he is a park and recreation manager.
He is a 1970 graduate of LaSalle High School. He is the son of Bernard and Vi Paquin of St. Ignace, where he currently lives with his wife, Treasa. They have four children and three grandchildren.
