The overall winners for the 12th annual Rudyard Lions Summerfest Triathlon and 5K Run, Sunday, July 27, in Rudyard, were Tim Pearson (17:51) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and Rebecca Malaski (25:15) of Rudyard.

Participants competed in the 5K run, an individual triathlon, and team triathlon events.

Taking first among men in the triathlon (run 5K, bike 24K, and swim 1.2 K) was Matt Cowan of Petoskey (1:13.30), and among women, Christine Lawless of Grand Ledge (1:21.57).
