Marie Loehde, 93, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008, at Mackinac Straits Hospital Long Term Care Facility.

She was born October 25, 1914, in Chicago to Joseph and Elsie (nee Guetzou) Bohn.

She married Grant R. Loehde in 1936 in Chicago and they lived in Chicago much of their married life, until moving to Cullman, Alabama, in 1975. Mr. Loehde passed away in 1992.

Mrs. Loehde moved to the Upper Peninsula because of poor health. She resided at Belonga Adult Foster Care home before she moved to long term care.

She is survived by one son and his family, Grant and Jean Loehde of Ozark, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Tom in 2002 and Fred in 1992, and by two sisters.

Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.

Dodson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
