Geneva Mae (nee Vincent) Buchko, 77, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008.

She was born April 9, 1931, in Naubinway to John Louis and Genevieve (nee Paquin) Vincent. She was one of 16 children in the family.

She worked at Beaudoin's Cafe and Wyse's Laundry in Naubinway.

She married Robert Koboski in 1949, in Petoskey. While residing in Petoskey, she worked at Petoskey Steam Laundry and then at a nursing home.

Mr. Koboski preceded her in death.

She married Basil J. Buchko June 28, 1968, in Munising.

She went on to complete her high school education, and then worked in a hospital as a licensed practical nurse, while living in Georgia. She worked at Keenagers Independent Living Facility in Wakefield, as a co-administrator. For the last 18 years, she has had her own adult foster care facility.

Mrs. Buchko spent most of her life caring for other people. She liked to crochet, knit, embroider, and sew. She also enjoyed playing board games, cards, and cribbage, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Buchko is survived by her husband, Basil; her children and their families, Jacqueline and Gerald Troglio of Robbinsville, New Jersey, Roberta and Dwayne Mehling of Fresno, California, Anne and Scott Tess of Green Bay, Pam Radle of Levering, Shirley and Michael Salminen of Ypsilanti, and Basil Jr. and Heather Buchko of Manitowoc; a son-in-law, Ron Radle of Alanson; 11 grandchildren, Ron Jr., Timothy, Robert, Sean, Amanda, Gabrielle, Samantha, Sandra, Madeline, Julianne, and Alysan, and five great-grandchildren, Amanda, Alyssa, Ryan, Andrew, and Aaron. Also surviving are two brothers and their families, Donald Vincent of Texas, and Raymond Vincent of New Mexico, and four sisters and their families, Lucille Florek of Marquette, Margaret Bedrick of Petoskey, Susan Eisenbach of Mecosta, and Emma Kramer of Onsted.

In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was preceded in death by three daughters, Sandra Lynn Radle, Linda Kay Koboski, and Catherine Anne Koboski; six brothers, Joseph, Jimmy, Paul, Lawrence, Willard, and Wildred, and three sisters, Justine, Erma Elizabeth, and Catherine Anne.

Visitation was Saturday, August 16, from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m., with a memorial mass at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Naubinway, with Father Tim Hruska presiding.

Burial was in Naubinway Cemetery.
