Peter Sharp and Jolene Rickley of St. Ignace announce the birth of their son, Ryker William Sharp, born July 18, 2008, at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 11.5 ounces at birth and measured 19.5 inches in length.

Grandparents are Buneva Rickley of St. Ignace, Lisa (nee Léon) Horton of Gwinn, and Charles and Cynthia Sharp of Kincheloe. Greatgrandfather is Robert Léon and great-great-grandmother is Viola Pine of Gwinn.
