Hello, everyone. It seems like the month of August has flown by, and now it's time for the new school year to begin.

The Engadine Area Farmers Market is open every Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, through October at the Mill Pond Park pavilion, just behind Garfield Township Hall in Engadine. Many fresh products are available. Project Fresh coupons are accepted for fresh produce.

Naubinway-Engadine Merchant Association's annual Fall Festival will be Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Naubinway pavilion. There will be arts and crafts, food booths, children's games, and activities. Anyone who wishes to have a table for their arts and crafts may call Ethel Toms at (906) 477-6214 or Jennifer Bell at (906) 477-6261. There also will be a snowmobile/ ATV swap meet, starting at 7 a.m. For more information, contact Charlie or Marilyn Vallier at (906) 477- 6192. This year's silent auction will feature teepees. Teepees to be entered can be picked up at First National Bank or Coldwell Bankers Real Estate in Naubinway.
