St. Ignace Steel Drum Band Releases CD

The Saints of Steel performance recorded live at the Cheboygan Opera House in July is now available on compact disc. Sales of the $15 disc will benefit school music programs in St. Ignace.

"Ants Marching," "Crazy Train," "Hitchin' a Ride," and "When the Sun Goes Down" are among popular songs recorded by the steel drum band in the performance, said Jason Byma, band director.

The discs will be made available in several St. Ignace stores soon, and can be purchased now by contacting Mr. Byma at the school.
