Comeback Win

Over Cedarville Trojans

St. Ignace trailed two games to one (25-21, 19-25, 19-25) before winning the final two matches (28- 26, 15-13) of the evening to down Cedarville during a non-conference match Monday, August 25.

"We played hard, especially after being down 2-1," said Saints coach Gracia Marshall. "I was pleased with our overall effort."

The Saints, 9-10 on the season, will compete in the Inland Lakes Invitational Saturday, September 6, and travel to Pickford to battle the Panthers Monday, September 8, while the Trojans will host Pickford Thursday, September 4.

Rudyard Downs DeTour

Rudyard opened the varsity volleyball season with a 25-11, 19- 25, 25-22, 25-23 non-conference win over DeTour Thursday, August 28.

Bulldogs statistics: Betsy Wileman, 12 kills, four blocks; Amaris Dolly, 12 digs; Leah Wallis, 18 assists.

Trojans Win

JV Match

Cedarville won the junior varsity volleyball match against the Saints, 19-25, 25-13, 15-13.

The Trojans junior varsity team will host their tournament Saturday, September 6.
