The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians will host an Elder and Adult Protection Workshop Thursday, September 11, from noon to 2 p.m. at Sault Tribe Elder Services in Sault Ste. Marie, and Thursday, September 18, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Tribal Community Center in Manistique.

Participants will learn about what to do when elder abuse occurs, definitions of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, reporting abuse, and the goals of the Elder/Adult Protection Community Collaboration.
