Hello, everyone. It's officially autumn, and the leaves will be changing colors quickly. Fall color tours are being planned.

American Legion Post 290 in Engadine will have a fish fry Friday, September 26, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Engadine American Legion VFW Post 8372 Hall. Cost is $8 for adults and children age 10 and older, $5 for children age 6 to 9, and free for children age 5 and younger. There also will be a 50/50 raffle. Everyone is welcome.

The Gould City Eagles Aerie 4483 is welcoming autumn in with a corn roast Saturday, September 27, starting at 3 p.m. Cost for the meal is $7 for adults and $3 for children younger than age 12, and senior citizens age 80 and older. The club is open to the public. That evening, beginning at 6 p.m., Banjo Bob will perform.

It's Octoberfest Saturday, September 27, in downtown Curtis. Live music, vendors, games, and a soup cook-off will be offered, from noon to 8 p.m. There will be music from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., featuring "Copper Box" with modern polka music, then from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be rock music, featuring "Storm Front."

The Hiawatha Sportsman's Club in Naubinway will be having a "Night Golf" golfing Saturday, September 27. Sign-in is at 7:30 p.m., and tee-off at 8 p.m. This will be a four-person best ball scramble. Entry fee is $20 per person. For more information and to register, call (906) 477-6683.

The Luce-West Mackinac County Fair Board is sponsoring a breakfast Saturday, September 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the basement of the Newberry Community Building.Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children age 12 and younger, and free for children age 5 and younger. Upstairs in the auditorium, there will be a rummage and flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
