Saints Girls Finish Second; Elmblad Wins Invitational
Kristen Olsen Saints sophomore Nicole Elmblad won the Cheboygan Invitational with a time of 21:24.30, and the St. Ignace girls finished second in the team event behind the host Chiefs Tuesday, September 16.
Cheboygan, as a team, recorded 40 points, followed by the Saints with 83 points, Wolverine 108, Rogers City 120, Mackinaw City 160, Onaway 175, East Jordan 180, Inland Lakes 194, and Cedarville 224.

Cedarville girls: Erin Currie 6th in 23:10.30 and Emily Windberg 33rd in 26:41.60.
Boys Meet
Wolverine won the boys division with 51 points, followed by Onaway with 64, Cheboygan 76, Rogers City 107, Mackinaw City 110, St. Ignace 139, and Inland Lakes 194. The boys' winning time was recorded by Jeremy Egas of Wolverine in 17:25.50.

Place First, Second in Jr. High
Sarah Cullip finished first in 13:31 and Rachel Hetherington placed second in 14:51 to lead the St. Ignace girls to a second place finish during the junior high meet Tuesday, September 16.
The host Chiefs tallied 43 points to win the meet, followed by the Saints with 53, Rogers City 105, and Inland Lakes 120.
Saints girls results: Angie Donajkowski 13th in 17:31, Rebecca LaLonde 18th in 19:01, and Savannah Seccia 19th in 19:03.
Saints Boys Finish First
St. Ignace boys won the meet with 27 points as five runners finished in the top 10, followed by Cheboygan with 42, East Jordan 70, and Rogers City 86.

DeTour To Host First
X-Country Invite
on Drummond Island
DeTour High School will host its first 5K cross country invitational, to be held at The Rock Golf Course on Drummond Island Saturday, September 27, at 10 a.m.
The ferry from DeTour to Drummond Island leaves hourly at 40 minutes after the hour, and returns to the mainland at 10 minutes after the hour.

Kiwanis Invitational
The Saints will host the first St. Ignace Kiwanis cross country invitational at Mackinac Bridge View Park Tuesday, September 30, at 4 p.m.
The host Saints will compete with Cheboygan, Cedarville, DeTour, Rogers City, Sault Ste. Marie junior varsity, Munising, Mackinaw City, and East Jordan.
