Sportsmen's Club Members Complete Project

Members of the Straits Area Sportsmen's Club recently completed a project of removing aspen, willow, and tag alder saplings at sites in the Hiawatha National Forest St. Ignace District, creating wildlife openings. Brush and debris was piled to create habitat for rabbits and grouse, and trash was cleaned up, reported Club President Louie Colegrove of St. Ignace October 2.
