The Mackinac County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in investigating a larceny that took place in the Village of Curtis between Monday, September 22, and Wednesday, September 24, when personal property was removed from several pontoon boats docked on the shore of South Manistique Lake.

Items taken included assorted fishing equipment, floatable life jackets, boat gas tanks, miscellaneous hand tools, an eight-horsepower pull start boat motor, boat propellers, and other boat equipment.
