There will be a hunters dinner Saturday, November 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Engadine VFW Hall. There also will be a bake sale. The dinner is sponsored by the VFW Auxiliary 8372 of Engadine.

There will be an infant and toddler play group Saturday, November 15, at 11 a.m. at the Engadine Library, with activities and story time. Everyone is invited, and each child will receive a free book.

There will be a hunters dinner Sunday, November 16, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Garfield Township Hall in Engadine. The dinner is sponsored by the Engadine United Methodist Church.

Monday, November 17, at 7 p.m. there will be a book discussion about "The Shack" by William Paul Young at the Engadine Library. Everyone is welcome. There are several ongoing book discussions held at the library.

Doran-Keating VFW Post 6030 will host an all-you-can-eat pancake brunch Sunday, November 9, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Germfask VFW Hall. There also will be a bake sale. The brunch is open to the public.

The fourth annual craft show and bazaar will be Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church multi-purpose room in Manistique. Crafts, a bake sale, entertainment, and refreshments will be offered.
