 The annual parade of costumes at St. Ignace Elementary School is held for students from developmental kindergarten through seventh grade. These seventh grade girls, (from left) Taylor Severance, Madeline Smith, Kristi Gustafson, and Virginia Smith, said their mothers helped create their costumes.  Coordinating their costumes around the L. Frank Baum's children's book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" are Jaylynn McClure, 5, as Dorothy, and Jaleel Harrison, 5, as the Tin Man. The young students took part in the traditional Halloween parade at St. Ignace Elementary School Friday afternoon, October 31.  At right: Showing support for the St. Ignace Saints High School football team are fourth grade students (from left) Austin Marshall and Mitchell Peterson. Hours before the big playoff game against the Bark River-Harris Broncos, the two boys donned uniforms to participate in the school's Halloween costume parade. |
