Dale Beaudoin
Dale Beaudoin Dale Beaudoin, 54, of Moran died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at his home on Charles Moran Road.
He was born in St. Ignace September 12, 1954, to Wilfred "Willie" and Anna Mae (nee Soeltner) Beaudoin.
He was graduated from Rudyard High School and was a member of the Local 1329 Union. Mr. Beaudoin was working on construction of the new hospital in St. Ignace, and had spent the summer working on Mackinac Island.
Mr. Beaudoin was an avid bowler, playing on the Thursday night league in St. Ignace for many years. He was a member of the Brevort Township Fir Department, Moose Lodge #999, and of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moran.
He married Lucy St. Louis in St. Ignace May 5, 1975.
He was a family man, an animal lover, a hunter, and fisherman,
friends said. Mr. Beaudoin was a deer hunter at Camp Flowing Well for many years. He was also a team player at euchre.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy; three children, Martin, Tonya, and Martina, all at home; two brothers and their families, James and Lissa Beaudoin of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and Tom and Cindy Beaudoin of Gibralter; four sisters and their families, Judie and Jim Sherman of Moshem, Tennessee, Wilma Litzner of Brevort Lake, Sandy and Richard White of Gibralter, and Yvonne and Chuck Fuller of Rudyard. He is also survived by his mother, Anna Beaudoin of Moran, and 17 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred, in 2004, and a brother-in-law, Dwight Litzner.
A memorial was held Tuesday, November 4, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Moran with Father Allen Mott officiating, assisted by Father Jim Williams, Deacon Don Olmstead, and Deacon Tom McClelland.
Dodson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
