Joseph Carnesi
Joseph Carnesi, 70, of Kincheloe, died Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey.
He was born to Thomas and Rose (nee Ferry) Carnesi in Manhattan, New York, September 15, 1938, and lived in California from the age of five until last year, when he and his wife moved to Kincheloe.
Mr. Carnesi served with the United States Army in Korea, and in civilian life was an electrical contractor.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and skiing. He also loved his dogs, Prince and Babygirl, who were his constant companions.
Mr. Carnesi is survived by his wife, Shelia (nee Mullen); two daughters, Charlene Carnesi of Sidney, Ohio, and Kathy and Victor Lee of Huntington Beach, California; one son, Joseph Carl Carnesi of Fullerton, California; three brothers, Thomas and Dee Carnesi Jr. of Fullerton, Richard and Marta Carnesi of Placentia, California, and Robert and Arlene Carnesi of Fullerton; four grandchildren, Gregory, Dora, Autumn, and Anthony; eight nieces and nephews, Thomass III, Linda, Richard Jr., Ruben, Dominic, Robert Jr., R.J., and Kristin; one great-grandson, Jonah, and childhood friends, Dave Baton and Lonnie Osdale.
Burial was at Kinross Township Lakeview Cemetery Tuesday, November 4.
