Cedarville Trojans Earn Top Awards in MEFL

Barr, Paquin, Huff, Mitchell Receive Highest Honors

The Cedarville Trojans coach and players took home four of the top five awards during the Mid- Eastern Football League All- Conference coaches meeting in Manistique Monday, October 27.

First-year coach Scott Barr was selected Coach of the Year by his colleagues, while C.J. Paquin was named Offensive Player of the Year. Jordan Huff was named Offensive Lineman of the Year, and James Mitchell received the Defensive Lineman of the Year award.

Cedarville: Named to the first team were the Trojans' Josh Wilson of DeTour at offensive center, Andrew Figures as kicker, Zach McFarlane at running back and linebacker, Luke Murray at offensive end and defensive back, Jordan Huff at offensive guard and defensive end, and James Mitchell at offensive and defensive tackle.

Receiving honorable mention for Cedarville were Tyler Anderson and Wade Autore.

Pickford: Panthers players who received first team honors were Ben Eckola at offensive and defensive tackle, and Mickael Cantin at running back.

Honorable mention went to John Kelley, Zack Mortinsen, McKinley Portice, Shawn Rader, and Dylan Rye.

Engadine: The Eagles named to the first team were Michael Klobucher at kicker, Killian Frisch at linebacker, and Ryan Draper at defensive back, while Phillip Hood and Tim Rose received honorable mention.

Brimley: Josh Graham, Justin Lawson, and Jerry Amo received honorable mention.
