The regular meeting of the St. Ignace City Council was held on Monday, November 3, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Grondin with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Councilmember Wyse gave the invocation.

Present: Councilmembers Della- Moretta, Mayor Pro-Tem Gustafson, LaLonde,Tamlyn-Massaway, Wyse, Mayor Grondin.

Absent: Councilmember Fullerton. It was moved by Councilmember LaLonde, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Gustafson to excuse Councilmember Fullerton from the budget meeting, as he is out of town. Motion carried unanimously. Staff Present: Eric Dodson, City Manager; Renee' Vonderwerth, City Clerk; Eugene Elmer, Assessor/ Treasurer; Les Therrian, Supe - rintendent of Utilities; Tim Matelski, Chief of Police; Deb Evashevski, DDA Director; Paul Sved, Bldg. Insp; Bucky Robinson, Fire Chief; Cindy Patten, Librarian.

1. 2009 BUDGET WORK SESSION:

City Manager Dodson presented and reviewed the preliminary budget with Council.

At 7:55 p.m., Mayor Grondin set a budget work session for November 17, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.to finish the review of the 2009 budget.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m.
