The Girl Scouts will be hosting a food drive Friday, November 21, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Glen's Market in St. Ignace. Five troops will be participating, with girls from kindergarten through 12th grades. They are collecting nonperishable foods, paper products, personal care items, as well as frozen turkeys or other items for Thanksgiving baskets. Everything collected will go to the St. Ignace Food Pantry.
