St. Ignace Home for the Holidays Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, December 5, across from City Hall on South State Street, ending at the marina. The parade will include Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will arrive on a firetruck.

The annual lighting of the city's Christmas tree will follow at the marina.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be available for photographs at the Pavillion Mall following the tree lighting.

The St. Ignace Children's Youth Choir will perform at the Pavillion Mall after the tree lighting ceremony.

The Colonial House will be open for touring from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday night. Many downtown businesses will be open for holiday shopping Friday night.

The Home for Holidays events are sponsored by St. Ignace Chamber of Commerce and its Business Association members.
