Dionne Talks at St. Ignace Library
2008-11-13 / Social
Former St. Ignace Resident Karen Dionne will sign and talk about her new book "Freezing Point" Monday, November 17, at 6:30 p.m., at the St. Ignace Public Library.
Written while she lived in St. Ignace, the novel incorporates much of her Michigan experience. The main character is from the Upper Peninsula and has a father who cut pulpwood for a living - a job Mrs. Dionne's husband also held - and a grandfather who owned a Great Lakes fishing boat. The Great Lakes and water issues factor prominently in the story.
