Sprague Awarded 'Woman of Distinction'

Elaine Sprague
Elaine Sprague, a retired teacher and librarian from Rudyard Area Schools, was awarded the 2008 Woman of Distinction Award from Delta Kappa Gamma Society of Women Educators, the society announced in October. Ms. Sprague, in her years of service to the organization, has held offices and chaired many committees. She was also recognized for her contributions to the Rudyard community. She has for many years accompanied students for solo and ensemble competitions. She is a founding and active member of the Rudyard Historical Society.
