HOME Auction Friday To Benefit County Affordable Housing Projects

Lori Pieri, executive director of Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Mackinac County, puts the finishing touches on one of five tabletop Christmas trees Monday, November 17. The trees, along with holiday wreaths, gift baskets, and other items will be part of the "Home for the Holidays" auction Friday, November 21, at Little Bear East Conference Center in St. Ignace. The event begins at 7 p.m., with the auction starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $10 and include an auction number, punch, wine, and hors d'oeuvres. Proceeds from the event help support projects to establish adequate, affordable housing within the county.
