Joshua Duran Glashaw, 30, of Mobile, Alabama, formerly of St. Ignace, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, of a heart attack.

He was born September 17, 1978, in Marquette to Paul Glashaw of St. Ignace and April Schmidt of Moundville, Alabama.

Mr. Glashaw attended St. Ignace Elementary School and Paradise High School.

He married Jillian Summer Waldron November 17, 2003, in Alabama.

Mr. Glashaw is survived his wife; two children, Joseph and Jarred Glashaw; his father, Paul Glashaw; his mother and stepfather, April and Terry Schmidt, and four siblings, Samantha Glashaw, Daniel Schmidt, Ashley Schmidt, and Tyler Schmidt. He is also survived by two grandmothers, Bertha Glashaw and Alice Gamble, an aunt, Leona Brown, and many cousins in Michigan and Alabama.

He was preceded in death by Melody (nee Gamble) Montcalm, Perry Gamble, and Paul Gamble.

Services were held Friday, November 7, in Mobile, with Rob Couch officiating. Burial followed at Pine Crest in Mobile.

Pallbearers were Daniel Schmidt, Sonny Weeks, and Rusty Waldron.
