Brevort
The weather December 1, 1956, was very snowy, cold, and blustery, just like today, December 1, 2008. That day, 52 years ago, Dave and I were married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brevort. After the ceremony, we plowed through more than a foot of snow to Allenville, to have dinner with Jake and Rose Ellen Weiss and other family members.
Pega Kennedy received a call from her friend, Beth (nee Sunderland) Logan, informing her that her mother, Marvel Sunderland, had passed away Tuesday, November 25. Mrs. Sunderland was 93 years old.

It was one year ago, December 4, that Suzie Pierson called me to ask if I had heard from Bob Flora. We eventually learned Bob had a fatal automobile accident just west of St. Ignace. We miss him. He was such a presence in our lives.
