Community Party Will Be Sunday
Clark Township residents are invited to get into the holiday spirit early this year by attending a community Christmas party Sunday, December 7, at 3 p.m.
The First Union Church is sponsoring a Christmas party, open to all Cedarville and Hessel residents, to be held at the Clark Township Community Center on M-134.
There will be toy and candy giveaways for children, as well as turkey and fruit basket raffles for adults. Every child will get the opportunity to sit on Santa's lap when he makes an appearance toward the end of the party.
Organizers received several grants to purchase the items to be given away, including a $500 grant from the Les Cheneaux Community Foundation, a $500 grant from Wal-Mart, and $430 from Hessel VFW Post 7958.
