Island Students Perform Christmas Musical Dec. 17

Forty students from Mackinac Island Public School high school and elementary classes participated in the annual school Christmas musical for residents and parents in the school's multipurpose room Wednesday, December 17. The high school students, coordinated by teacher Mary Patay, performed a Christmas rap musical about their teachers and school staff, while elementary students, coordinated by teacher Karen Allen, sang 12 Christmas songs, with a sign language song as the finale.
