Mary Beth Paquin
Mary Beth Paquin Mary Beth Paquin, 45, of Cedarville, died Thursday, December 18, 2008, at her home.
She was born January 1, 1963, in St. Ignace to Charles Gerald and Dorothy Aletta (nee Matson) Paquin.
Ms. Paquin was a lifelong Cedarville resident. She worked at local restaurants and did home cleaning. She assisted her sister, Sonja Duncan, in coaching the Cedarville High School girls varsity basketball team. She was a sports fan, especially enjoying basketball and football at all levels, from the local children's teams to professional.
Ms. Paquin is survived by her mother, Dorothy Paquin of Cedarville; three sisters and their families, Judy and Lyle Landreville of Maple Lake, Minnesota, Sonja and David Duncan of Cedarville, and Nicole and Jeff Rolland of Clinton; two brothers and their families, Charles G. "Butch" Paquin Jr. of Cedarville and John and Candy Paquin of Clinton; 19 nieces and nephews, David, Angela, and Keith Landreville, Mark, Steven, Andrew, C.J., Trey, Erin, Erica, James, and Alex Paquin, Jason, Jordan, Jessica, and Joey Duncan, and Jeffrey, Nicholas, and Alexia Rolland; great-nieces and nephews, Emma and Avery Adams, Chase Landreville, and Aidan Paquin; and her dear friends, Cheryl Waybrant and Pamela Paquin.
Ms. Paquin was preceded in death by her father, Charles G. Paquin Sr. and her grandparents, Bessie and Clarence Matson and Eugene and Mary Paquin.
Services were held Monday, December 22, at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Cedarville, with visitation from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. A funeral was held at 4 p.m. Her final resting place will be Cedar Cemetery in Cedarville.
