      To the Editor: Is there a more magical place in Michigan at Christmas than Mackinac Island? I don't think so. I have a Christmas wish. It is for a production company to make a full-blown feature film about fur trader Magdaleine LaFromboise, a remarkable woman, before much more time goes by.
