For the Record...

In an article on page 3 January 3 reporting two grants for outdoor recreation projects in DeTour and Sault Ste. Marie, it should be clarified that these were acquisition grants, not development grants, from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund.

The City of St. Ignace had applied for a development grant from the Trust Fund, but didn't get it (December 27 issue). No development grants were awarded to Upper Peninsula applicants.
