Court Reports The following dispositions are from 92nd District Court in St. Ignace Tuesday, January 8, and Wednesday, January 9, Judge Beth Gibson presiding. Arresting agencies are in parentheses. The court does not distinguish between jail time to be served immediately and jail sentences that are suspended. • Thomas Dowdell Jr., 19, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to failure to report an accident, and was assessed a fine of $150, 90 days in jail, and nine months probation. (Michigan State Police) • Peter Polisse, 66, of Engadine, pleaded guilty to operating while visibly impaired, and was assessed a fine of $500, 93 days in jail, and four months probation. (Mackinac County Sheriff's Department) • Derek Davis, 18, of Newberry, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on one count breaking and entering a building with intent. (Michigan State Police) • Nyles Waybrant Jr., 43, of Cedarville, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, and was assessed a fine of $1,100, 93 days in jail, and six months probation. (Michigan State Police) • Kraig Kortman, 27, of Cheboygan, pleaded guilty to attempted resisting and obstructing, and was assessed a fine of $250, 365 days in jail, and six months probation.
