Mackinaw City Winterfest Draws Crowd of 200+

Despite frigid weather, a crowd of more than 200 people cheers on the Wee Wee Tee Pee as it slides toward the finish line during the third annual outhouse race at Winterfest in Mackinaw City Saturday, January 19. Taking second place, the team ran the 500-foot track in 14.5 seconds. Pictured (not in order) are team members Jon Cooley, Norman Windsor, Abe Brown, Samantha Cooley, and Mat Ruhl. All are from Mackinaw City, except Mr. Ruhl, who lives in Tecumseh. Miss Cooley is inside the outhouse. The outhouse was sponsored by Tee Pee Campgrounds in Mackinaw City.
