Scott Wilson Scott A. Wilson of Cedarville enjoyed his work for O'Connor's Chrysler Dodge and Jeep in Pickford, where he drove a transport vehicle for the company. Mr. Wilson passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday, January 19, 2008. He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, August 1, 1961, to Junior and Juanita Wilson, longtime Cedarville and Brimley residents. Mr. Wilson was a 1979 graduate of Brimley High School. Mr. Wilson is remembered by friends and family members as a kind and generous person who loved football and NASCAR racing. Scott and his wife, Vonnie, especially loved going to their cabin. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Vonnie (nee Lamoreaux), his parents, Junior and Juanita Wilson; two sons and their families, Nathan and Mary Bowen, who are expecting Mr. Wilson's first grandchild in May, Andrew Wilson, Jeff Wilson, and Devon Wilson; a sister and her husband, Shari and Jimmy Lee of Hessel; three aunts, Shirley Jewell, Betty Pierce, and Alice Wilson, and a cousin and his family, Kristopher and Elizabeth Jewell and their daughter, Maggie, all of Ann Arbor. Mr. Wilson is also survived by extended family members Cindy and Dennis VanLuven, John Lamoreaux, Sherry Lamoreaux, Lisa and Randy Myers, Jim and Kerry Lamoreaux, and his best friend, Larry Gregg. Visitation was at Hovie Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie Wednesday, January 23. The funeral was Thursday, January 24, at First United Presbyterian Church, across the street from Hovie Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie. Pastor Ralph Postma officiated.
