Louis St. Andrew

Kelly LaJoice and Stephen St. Andrew of St. Ignace announce the birth of their son, Louis Matthew St. Andrew, born December 27, 2007, at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey. He weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces at birth and measured 19.5 inches long.

He joins two sisters, Brooklyn St. Andrew and Alyse Bird.

Grandparents are Matt and Loni LaJoice, and Cindy LaPine, all of St. Ignace, and Daniel St. Andrew of North Carolina. Great-grandparents are David and Rita Lavake, Robert and Barbara LaJoice, Clement "Floyd" and Shirley Jane St. Andrew, all of St. Ignace, and Robert and Caroline LaPine of Mackinac Island.

The baby was born with a birth defect in his heart and will soon undergo open heart surgery at DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids.
