The St. Ignace Saints bowlers continue to improve, with the state tournaments on the horizon, as seven LaSalle High School players are listed in the Northern Michigan Bowling Association Conference (NMBAC) statistics.

Saints Girls Split Matches

The St. Ignace girls split their two matches at Cheboygan, defeating the Gaylord Blue Devils and falling to the Rogers City Hurons Saturday, January 26.

Meghann Colegrove bowled a high game of 189 and two-game series of 333, and Sara Tafelski rolled 173 and series of 332 to lead the Saints.

They were followed by Brooke Allan with a 159 single game and 293 series, and Anna Krause 133 single game and 251 series. Jaimee Bloxsom rolled a single game of 145 and Melissa Brown rolled a single game of 118.

Against the Hurons, the Saints were led by Sara Tafelski with a single game of 174 and two-game series of 340, while Brooke Allan had a single game of 161 and 309 series, Melissa Brown scored a single game of 153 and 278 series, Jaimee Bloxsom single game of 167 and 270 series, Anna Krause rolled a single game of 128, and Meghann Colegrove 119.

St. Ignace Boys Drop Pair

The St. Ignace boys fell to Gaylord and the host Chiefs during NMBAC matches at Cheboygan Saturday, January 26.

Jamin Corwin led the Saints in the first match with a single game of 216 and two game series of 421, while Chris Binger rolled 203 and a 384 series.

They were followed by Patric Schlehuber's single game of 180 and 359 series, Andy Mullins' single game of 180 and 285 series, and Josh Feldman's single game of 160 and 314 series.

Patric Schlehuber rolled a 189 with a 335 series against Cheboygan, while Jamin Corwin had a single game of 179 and 353 series, Chris Binger single game of 180 and 347 series, Josh Feldman single game of 170 and 286 series, and Andy Mullins single game of 135 and 251 series.

The Saints bowlers will travel to Rogers City Saturday, February 2.
