Old Mission Bank Presents '07 Community Pride Awards

People and organizations from the Eastern Upper Peninsula were recognized with awards totaling $7,000 in Old Mission Bank's Community Spirit and Community Pride Award program.
Awards were made in January to the following organizations: $2,800 to Bayliss Public Library to support the capital campaign; $1,000 to the Bay Mills-Brimley Historical Society, toward the Brimley Depot Replica building project; $1,000 to the Pickford Community Wellspring Endowment Fund; $1,000 to Hospice of Chippewa County Endowment Fund in memory of Bonnie Arfstrom; $500 to the Chippewa County 4-H for youth programs, clinics, and training, and $700 to the Chippewa Luce Mackinac Community Action Walk for Warmth fund drive.
"The Community Spirit Awards are in recognition of the unselfish giving spirit of the persons and entities named," said David E. Firack, president/CEO of Old Mission Bank.
