Chippewa County Sheriff Investigates Breaking/Entering

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department is investigating a breaking and entering at the Varsity Grill on West Main Street in Rudyard.

During the early morning hours of Thursday, January 24, the restaurant was broken into and an undisclosed amount of cash and a Toshiba laptop computer valued at more than $600 were stolen.

Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at (800) 465- 7867. Callers may remain anonymous and tips leading to an arrest could earn a $1,000 reward.
