Attention to all interested parties, auditions for the spring production of "On Golden Pond" will be Tuesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 5, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Kids Cafe Room at the DeTour School. This production will be directed by Dave Rhinard. If you would like to review a copy of the play, contact Mr. Rhinard at (906) 297-5608.

The school production of the musical "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" will be Friday, March 14, Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16. Dave Rhinard is the director. The past several musicals directed by Mr. Rhinard, including the school children, have been successful and are enjoyed by all who attend.

Members of the DeTour Area Chamber of Commerce are busy with their plans for the ELF (Everyone Loves Fun) Festival to be held Saturday, March 1. All activities, registrations for the poker rallies, and cook-off contests will take place at the Village Hall. Time set for all activities commence at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
