Sault Police Investigate Vehicle Larceny

The Sault Ste. Marie police are investigating a larceny from a motor vehicle in the 100 block of West Spruce Street. The theft occurred January 22 at 12:45 p.m. near the hospital. Stolen was a black zippered wallet from a purse containing $68, a driver's license, and credit cards. The suspect was a white male, 50 to 60 years of age, of thin build, wearing a brown Carhart jacket and blue knit hat.

Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at (800) 465- 7867. Callers may remain anonymous and tips leading to an arrest could earn a $1,000 reward.
