Swim and Kayak Classes To Be Offered at Rudyard High Pool

Rudyard High School Pool will be closed Wednesday, February 27, owing to a district basketball tournament.

Consolidated Community School Services offers swim lessons and kayak lessons at the pool.

American Red Cross Swimming lessons levels one and two and Aqua Tots will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., beginning February 26. Class sizes are limited. Lessons cost $40 and Aqua Tots costs $30. Pre-registration is required.

Kayak lessons focus on paddle strokes, braces, rescues, and essential equipment. The certified instructor is Jessie Hadley. Lessons will meet Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cost is $85. Rental equipment is available.
