Keenan Joseph Marshall, who was nearly three years old, died Thursday, February 21, 2008. He is the son of Mike and Kris Marshall of Rockford.
Keenan was full of fun and joy, family members said, and his favorite toy was Spiderman, but he also liked playing with his toy turtles, pirates, and watching "Bear in the Big Blue House" on television. Like his father, he was a night owl who did not like to go to bed, always making an excuse for getting up. He adored his big brother, Zach, and loved spending his summers going fast in the boat.
In addition to his parents and brother, he is survived his grandparents, Dick and Linda Marshall of St. Ignace and Jim and Jan Fleischer of Ada; aunts and uncles and their families, Rich and Beth Marshall, Chris and Jennifer Marshall, Jason Marshall, and Mark Fleischer, and many cousins.
Visitation was Monday, February 25, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home in Rockford, and from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, at St. Robert of Newminster in Ada. A rosary service took place at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
