Pickford Musicians Earn High Ratings at Band Festival

Pickford Public Schools hosted the District 13 Solo and Ensemble Festival Saturday, January 19. All Pickford band members who participated earned medals for their performances. Pictured are students and their rankings, (from left) Amanda Brancecum, division two rating for her flute solo; Teresa Kamper, division one rating for her flute solo; Katie Raynard, division one rating for her flute solo; Brandi Kopitz and Jessica Coullard, a division two rating for their clarinet duet, and Jessica Arman, a division two rating for her clarinet solo. Miss Raynard and Miss Kamper also earned a division one rating on their flute duet. This qualifies them to perform at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival in March.
